Day 1

Arrival at Kathmandu

Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Day 2

Kathmandu (1.300 m) – Lhasa (3.650 m) – Tsedang

Transport from Kathmandu Tribhuvan Airport and Himalayan flight towards Tibet (Lhasa Gongaar Airport) (1 hour).
Transport by car to Tsendang (1 hour) – Complete rest for the acclimatization

Day 3

From Tsedang to Lhasa

Visit of the Yumbulagang palace (Yumbulagang palace, or Yumbulakhang, is an ancient fortress in the valley of the Yarlung Tsangpo river in the southern part of Tibet. According to a legend, it had been the first edifice built in Tibet and palace of the first tibetan king Nyatri Tsenpo), visit of the buddhist monastery built in Tibet.

Day 4 and 5

Lhasa: 2 days tour in Lhasa

Visit of Potala Palace, Norbulinka Palace, Jokhang temple and Barkhor Bazar, Drepung monastery e Sera monastery.
Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 6

From Lhasa to Gyantze (3950 m) – 261 km

Transport to Gyantze across the Yamadroke lake and the highest passes: Kora LA (5.010m) and Kamba La (4.794m).

Day 7

From Gyantze to Shigatze (3900 m) - 90km

After having breakfast, visit of Gyantze (including Pholkor and Kumbum monasteries). In the afternoon: guided visit to Xigatse (1.5hrs) through typical tibetan countryside.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Manasarover Hotel or similars.

Day 8

From Xigatse – Xegar Via Shakya monastery

Morning: visit of Panches Lama's Tashilhumpu monastery throughout the route.

Day 9

From Xegar to Ronbuk (4980 m) - 90km

Transport and guided visit of Ronbuk across the beautiful tibetan countryside. Visit of Ronbuk monastery (the highest monastery in the world)
Dinner and overnight stay in Guest House

Day 10

Ronbuk – Everest Base camp – Kerong

Excursion to Everest base camp and nearby exploration – return to Ronbuk – Transport to Kerong.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kerong Grand Hotel.

Day 11

From Kerong to Kathmandu

Transport towards the Rausuwagadi border, after border formality, transport to Kathmandu.
Dinner and overnight stay.
